Judah Levine is an expert in telecommunications and mobile financial services, who advises corporations and other organizations on various strategic, commercial, and operational matters. He has over 15 years of experience in strategic planning, commercial development, technology innovation, and management for organizations in both developed and emerging markets.
His previous roles included Vice President of International Business Development for Teligent, New Markets Manager of Arbinet, and Consultant with A.T. Kearney’s Communications and High-Tech Practice. Mr. Levine received his MBA and MA from the University of Michigan and BA from Georgetown University, and is proficient in several languages.

Ariadne Plaitakis brings to the Mondato team extensive experience in the fields of payments, privacy, data protection, e-commerce, digital IT, consumer protection and mobile financial services regulation in US/ EU and emerging markets. She is a UK-qualified solicitor with over 16 years of experience as a lawyer, who has a nuanced understanding of the intricacies of the telecommunications and financial services regulation. Ariadne received her MA in Jurisprudence from the University of Oxford and her BSc in Foreign Service from Georgetown University, and is proficient in several languages.

Diana Boncheva began her career as a research analyst in the mobile financial services and remittances industries, acquiring a strong foundation in various DFC topics. She operationalized this knowledge by developing business cases, strategies and implementation plans for firms in the DFC space. Working for an mobile financial service provider, Diana launched and managed mobile payments projects focusing on parking, ticketing, debt, m-wallets and digital content. Diana holds an international affairs graduate degree from SAIS Johns Hopkins specializing in economics and emerging markets.
Advisory & Implementation
Bryan Church has extensive experience across a range of Mondato consulting engagements from strategy formulation to operationalization. Having worked closely with mobile network operators, payment service providers, technology vendors, trade associations, and enterprise, he appreciates the varying dynamics across the digital finance & commerce ecosystem in seeking solutions to complex problems in a space characterized by sector convergence. Bryan holds an MBA from London Business School and a Bachelor of Science in Foreign Service from Georgetown University.

Arielle manages the public relations and marketing at Mondato. She brings with her experience in both the telecommunications and mobile payment sectors in marketing and communication roles. With a Bachelor of Commerce and an MBA, Arielle combines an understanding of the MFS industry with a strong business foundation built from a global education across three continents.
Research & Analysis
Kerry Frank supports consulting deliverables and Mondato Insight through analytical research. Past areas of focus have included cryptocurrencies, bulk merchant payments, salary disbursements, P2P transfers, comparative product pricing, and general trends within the digital finance and commerce industry. She is a graduate of Johns Hopkins University with a BA in International Studies, and has a working proficiency in Arabic.

Mr. Vella is a digital services expert and independent advisor/consultant to players large (such as Visa, Vodafone and the GSMA) and small (a number of startups) in the space. Prior to offering his services-at-large, Mr. Vella was at RBS where he led the bank’s mobile efforts globally. Before RBS he spent five years with PayPal starting out as the Director of Business Development in the US Merchant Services team and finally as the Head of Mobile Payments leading the mobile payments initiative in Europe. Prior to PayPal, Mr. Vella worked as the VP of Sales & Marketing at 4charity, Inc. (a software startup focusing on corporate philanthropy for the Fortune 500), and as a Partner at Quantum Technology Ventures (a corporate VC firm focusing on the storage industry).
As an entrepreneur, Mr. Vella co-founded NetAbacus Corporation, a web-based purchasing service for small businesses, serving as the VP of Marketing/Strategic Relations. Before graduate school, he began his career in Client Service at the Leo Burnett Company in Chicago. He received a BA in Mathematics (with High Honors and elected to Phi Beta Kappa) from Holy Cross College, a JD from Stanford Law School, and an MBA (with certificates in Global and Public Management) from the Stanford Graduate School of Business.
Jojo is Chief Executive Officer of Wing which is a pioneering Mobile Finance institution that caters to the unbanked and underbanked aiming to bring them into the mainstream of economic success of Cambodia by allowing them access to financial services that have not been made available to them in the past.
Jojo is an experienced mobile money and mobile payments executive and brings with him extensive Mobile and Digital Financial Services (DFS) experience in emerging markets, working with key stakeholders in banks, regulators, MNOs, financial institutions, NGOs, international development firms, cooperatives, microfinance companies and global mobile money and financial inclusion organizations. He had worked with companies in the Philippines, Latin America and Africa that married technology and finance that are relevant to the poor.
